In collaboration with SNK and PlayStation, Shane explored the future of theme parks reimagining them as fully immersive, game driven worlds where guests don’t just visit, but live inside the experience. The concept centered on blending physical environments with digital gameplay, creating a seamless connection between what players do at home and how they show up in the real world.
The work examined how progress, achievements, and identity within a game could carry into the physical park shaping personalized experiences, unlocking interactions, and influencing the journey in real time. It also explored new forms of participation beyond the park itself, allowing audiences at home to spectate, interact, and even impact live experiences through connected systems.
Shane contributed to early concept development and future facing ideas that helped define what a next generation, connected theme park could become.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Shane was engaged to help Arena / SNK explore the future of immersive, game-driven destination experiences. The engagement began with a focused two-day creative retreat and continued into development of “The Portal,” a strategic pitch deck connecting physical environments, digital gameplay and player participation.
ROLE & CONTRIBUTION
Creative director and experience strategist responsible for future casting, concept development, experience architecture and pitch-deck storytelling. Shane translated workshop thinking into a clear creative vision designed to align stakeholders around a new kind of connected entertainment destination.
ENGAGEMENT SCOPE
Two-day leadership retreat followed by development of the Portal pitch deck. The work was a focused strategic and creative engagement—not a long-term operating role—and is presented accordingly.
STRATEGIC VALUE
The concept reframed a theme-park destination as a persistent world in which physical spaces and digital play influence one another. It demonstrated Shane’s ability to facilitate senior creative collaboration, synthesize complex ideas and turn speculative thinking into an actionable executive narrative.
