PROJECT OVERVIEW

For Coca-Cola’s Mother’s Day campaign, Shane led an interactive film experience built around one relationship viewed from two perspectives. At any point, viewers could switch between the mother’s and daughter’s viewpoints—revealing how the same shared moments carried different emotional meaning across the stages of their lives.

ROLE & CONTRIBUTION

Executive Creative Director responsible for the core interactive concept, creative direction, experience design and multidisciplinary team leadership. Shane shaped the storytelling mechanic and guided the experience from idea through production, ensuring the technology served the emotional narrative.

EXPERIENCE INNOVATION

The perspective-switching interaction transformed a linear advertisement into participatory storytelling. Rather than adding interaction as a novelty, the experience used it to deepen empathy and make the audience an active interpreter of the relationship.

STRATEGIC VALUE

The project demonstrated how a global consumer brand could combine cinematic craft, interactive design and emotionally resonant storytelling without sacrificing simplicity. It showcases Shane’s ability to connect brand strategy, technology and human insight in one intuitive audience experience.
