Foundational AR Platform Development
Working with Meta’s Spatial Computing team, Shane helped design and develop a foundational augmented reality application intended to serve as the backbone for future AR experiences. The project focused on establishing core interaction models and technical frameworks that could scale into a wide range of immersive applications laying the groundwork for an evolving ecosystem of spatial experiences.
Future Casting
Following the AR platform project, Shane joined a Meta incubator team exploring the future of emerging technologies including AR, VR, mixed reality, AI, and spatial computing. His role focused on creating speculative experiences and applications that demonstrated how these technologies might shape everyday life over the next 10–20 years helping Meta envision how people might interact with and benefit from the next generation of digital platforms.

Across two engagements with Meta, Shane helped develop a foundational augmented-reality platform and later joined an incubator team exploring the future of AR, VR, mixed reality, artificial intelligence and spatial computing. The work connected near-term platform design with speculative experiences showing how emerging technologies could shape everyday life over the next 10–20 years.
ROLE & CONTRIBUTION
Executive Creative Director and futurist responsible for creative concept development, interaction models, UX/UI direction, immersive-experience strategy and future-casting narratives. Selected technical and program details remain confidential under NDA.
STRATEGIC VALUE
The work established scalable foundations for future AR experiences while helping teams make emerging technologies tangible, understandable and human. It translated long-range technical possibilities into experiences that leaders, designers and product teams could evaluate and build toward.
