Make the road less travelled.

A futurist and pioneer of interactive, immersive and personalized storytelling, Shane Small squeezes every drop out of emerging technologies to create stories that take your breath away.

Shane worked with the Snapchat Originals team, using their platform (AR, social, maps, messaging, gaming) to make mobile-first shows and experiences that are totally unique to Snap.

Prior Shane worked with an internal incubator at Facebook, exploring the question: what kinds of products will near-future platforms technologies (like AR and VR) make possible? Shane also led design for an undisclosed AR project for Facebook.

He sold an interactive show to Sony Entertainment called EXP. He created an original horror anthology for Hulu called The House. Shane also developed the re-imagining of Twilight Zone as an interactive series for CBS. He consulted on the interactive content strategy for Netflix. Shane was Executive Creative Director of Shell’s 'Make the Future' campaign, which netted 260 million views worldwide and became a top viral campaign of 2016.

Previously he was creator and founder of Exploding Kittens - the highest backed Kickstarter in history. At Xbox Entertainment Studios, he worked on original interactive movies and TV shows for the Xbox gaming console. He was Creative Director of one of T-Mobile’s most successful marketing campaigns. Prior to that, amongst other things, he founded Edoc Laundry, the first interactive clothing brand, where hidden messages and codes in the clothing unlocked murder mystery content online, and also founded Funtini, where he developed games for Marvel & Disney.
